Shopify Redesign, Theme Build, Logo Work, and Google Ads Setup

Complete Shopify redesign for a fashion store: new logo, responsive theme development in Liquid, and a Google Ads campaign for the “Ladies Fashion” niche.

This project involved rebuilding a Shopify store from scratch for velitsa.com. The client needed a new logo, fresh design, responsive theme, and a working Google Ads campaign targeting women's fashion.

We delivered a complete brand refresh with a custom Liquid theme and launched their first paid traffic channel.

Shopify Store Redesign: Brand Identity, Custom Theme & Google Ads

Deliverables

  • Brand identity and logo design
  • Full store redesign
  • Custom Shopify theme development
  • Google Ads campaign setup

Technologies Used

  • Shopify Liquid
  • Responsive CSS/HTML
  • Google Ads platform
  • Conversion tracking setup

Brand Identity Development

We started with the brand identity. The logo for "EmagePres" needed to feel confident and elegant, so we chose clean lines and a calm color palette.

Logo Variations

The logo came in several versions so the store could use it across different contexts without losing consistency:

  • Full horizontal version for headers
  • Compact icon for mobile navigation
  • Stacked version for product pages
  • Monochrome variants for different backgrounds

Store Design Process

Design Requirements

The goal was to make sure the layout looked good across three main screen sizes: desktop, tablet, and mobile. The client asked for two design approaches:

Option 1: Zara-Inspired

Clean, minimal layout inspired by zara.com/uk with focus on large product imagery and simple navigation.

Option 2: Original Style

Custom design built from scratch with unique layouts and branded elements tailored to EmagePres identity.

Both options worked within Shopify's structure so the final choice could be implemented without rewriting the entire theme logic.

Responsive Design Approach

We designed for mobile first, then scaled up to larger screens. This ensured:

  • Fast load times on mobile devices
  • Touch-friendly navigation and buttons
  • Readable text without zooming
  • Properly sized product images at all breakpoints

Custom Theme Development

Technical Implementation

After design approval, we built the theme using Shopify's Liquid templating language. The theme followed Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture with sections and blocks for maximum flexibility.

Modular Sections

Built reusable sections that merchants can add, remove, and reorder without code.

Admin Controls

Theme settings let the store team update content, colors, and layouts through the Shopify admin.

Performance

Optimized code with lazy loading, minimal JavaScript, and compressed assets for fast page loads.

Key Features Built

Custom Product Pages

Flexible layouts for showcasing fashion items with image galleries and size guides

Collection Pages

Grid layouts with filtering options and quick view functionality

Mobile Navigation

Touch-optimized menu with category browsing and search

Cart & Checkout

Streamlined cart with discount codes and express checkout options

Google Ads Campaign Launch

The last step was launching a Google Ads campaign in the "Ladies Fashion" niche. We set up the account from scratch and structured it for the women's fashion market.

Campaign Structure

1

Account Setup

Created Google Ads account with proper billing and conversion tracking

2

Keyword Research

Selected keywords in women's fashion category with good search volume and purchase intent

3

Ad Groups

Structured campaigns by product categories with targeted ad copy for each segment

4

Tracking Setup

Installed conversion tracking to measure purchases and revenue from ads

Post-Launch Optimization

After launch, we monitored performance daily and made adjustments:

  • Adjusted bids based on keyword performance
  • Paused underperforming keywords and added new ones
  • Tested different ad copy variations
  • Optimized landing pages for better conversion rates

Project Outcome

By the end of the project, velitsa.com had a modern look, working brand identity, clean responsive theme, and a running traffic source.

Visual Improvements: Better brand consistency across all pages and touchpoints

User Experience: Smoother navigation and faster checkout process

Traffic Channel: Google Ads campaign bringing in targeted visitors already looking for fashion products
